I'm a criminal justice major. If I'm a police officer one day, I don't want my pic to pop up on this site. It's wrong that it could affect my job, but women have it much harder working in a male-dominated field if they project their sexuality.

Mine's a tiger I got off a google image search for "tiger avatar", they're pretty much my favorite animals ever so it seemed appropriate.
Eventually I plan on changing it to a picture of me or one I took though.

Yep that spunky looking redhead is definitely my picture

I don't mind people seeing my picture on sites as an avatar usually, and it makes it easier to distinguish my profile out of others with avatars that they got from the stock photos, because you can easily mix people up if they have the same picture!
