Often times I use sticky notes when I read a book. Like right now I am reading a book on parenting and I have sticky notes all the way through it with tips and things I have learned, things I want to try, etc.

Nope, nor do I use bookmarks. I usually just try to remember what page number I left off on, or memorize page numbers I want to go back to.

I prefer to write things down on paper with a page number for reference. I LOVE the 'highlight' feature on Kindle books.

I'm glad I'm not the only one I don't like to mark up my books and obviously not library books either so I always keep sticky notes nearby to mark quotes I like.

Yes. I use sticky tabs to flag things that I want to come back to.

sometimes depends on what I'm reading or if I want to share a part with someone

Marking a book, with pencil or sticky notes, has never been something I've ever done. I don't even take notes when I read. Taking notes or marking something I've read really just distracts me and breaks my focus.

Not when reading but I do for work. I have them all over the place.

I prefer to write directly in the book (as long as it isn't a limited edition, or anything nice like that).
