We don't really vacation at all. Haha. My husband is military so we take off whenever he has the days built up and we usually save them for holidays that way we can get around to seeing everyone. We go to Virginia for his side of the family but stay local for mine. Other than that, we're homebodies really. I'm trying to con him to go on a beach trip even for just a day.

I wish we could vacation every year, even if it were a simple camping trip. With me working and hubby driving truck, it is hard to find the time.

W/we don't do vacations, but once in a while W/we go off somewhere to camp and stuff, either nearby or out of state.

Would love to, but sadly no. We have lots of places we really want to go... not sure if we'll get to them, but we'd love to! We both used to travel extensively in our pasts, but now we both think it sounds like a lot of work and expense. It does create nice memories though, so we really should.

For 20+ years our vacations have to visit family - but enjoyable none the less. Now that the kids are grown, we're going to try some new venues if we can swing it - but now my wife's parents are getting to be an issue, so I have a feeling it's back to Kentucky!

We take a week vacation once a year, usually in the spring or summer to see my family in Pa and Va. We don't really have the time/money to go on an actual vacation although we'd love to.

vacations are an indulgence that we don't always get to have. I'm usually just as happy to relax at home and do free things like swim in a local pond etc.
this year I got super lucky though and I get to go to martha's vineyard with my boyfriend and his family. I can't wait. I've never been and the movie jaws is one of my favorites so I'd love to see where it was filmed.
