Never. My mom spoils me to this day. I wouldn't wanna share with someone else. Can you tell I'm an only child? LOL

The only benefit in having siblings is if you're not the first kid, so your parents were more prepared. Aside from that, there is little, to nothing to be gained from siblings, except for more potential familial politics and pain.

I have siblings and love it. We don't always get along, but we love each other and there is never a dull moment when we are all together.

I have a little brother, I love him dearly haven't seen him in years. Miss him terribly!! I am happy with just him.

I wish daily I did. More so now as an adult than as a child. Being an only when parents have health problems is not fun!

I have three younger siblings, two brothers and a sister. I wish that we weren't born so close together. Kevin and I are 22 and 20 (I'll be 23 here in a couple months) and Terra-Lynn and Scott are 15 and 13. Both sets fight like there's no tomorrow, and I fight bad with Scott because he uses his autism as a thing to get away with whatever he does because our mother lets him, she never put him in time out or nothing like she did to the rest of us, so it's hard watching her play favorite with Scott when Kevin, Terra and I are also disabled, Kevin's actually blind, Terra is partially deaf and bipolar, and I have ADHD, ADD, PTSD, and PDD. But she caters to Scott more than anything.
Now Terra and I get along wonderfully, I'm her safety net. She comes to me when she needs someone to talk to. Kevin and I are starting to get along a hell lot better, it's just Scott and I. So I got to see how living with siblings can be both a pain and a blessing. I love my siblings, but the fact that one is better than the rest is hard for three of us to understand.
Now Terra and I get along wonderfully, I'm her safety net. She comes to me when she needs someone to talk to. Kevin and I are starting to get along a hell lot better, it's just Scott and I. Sibblings are fun! Those are the people that when you get together it's as if yo were all brought up in the ghetto. Laughing, screaming, getting along or not depending on what hour of day it is. Oh and don't forget when food comes out or anything happens it's all about claiming and defending what you think is your rightful share.

I have step siblings, but I grew up as an only child. It was lonely. However, I do like my alone time. As the oldest, I'm sure I would have been constantly responsible for younger children, if my parents had had any, and although I love being with children, I probably would have wanted some time to myself, especially as a teenager. I have a strong feeling that if my mother had been able to have kids when I was a preteen or teen, I would have raised them.
I did wish for sisters and brothers. My mother had secondary infertility and couldn't have any more children. As Catholics, my parents had planned at least 8 children. Seeing as how they didn't get along, and got divorced when I was 18, I think my father would have been miserable if they had had anywhere near that many kids. It would have been impossible for him to get away and find a women who he could be happy with.
My parents are both difficult people, and I do with I had someone to share the strain with. My step brother sometimes helps me with my mother, but it isn't quite the same as if we had grown up together.

I am the youngest out of four. Having older siblings was great, but as we all got older, we all kind of drifted apart and fight a helluva lot more. It has its ups and downs, but I still feel kind of blessed to have them. I have to admit that being the youngest always had its advantages. I was the spoiled little sickly baby of the bunch. I hate the sickly part, but don't mind the other stuff much lol.
