Do your pets enjoy toys that make noise??

Our dogs love squeak toys, but even more, they love toys with little sound boxes that make all kinds of animal sounds. Problem is they rip them open pretty quick and we must throw them out before they eat a battery (a very, VERY bad thing for any pet)..thus, those toys are "Special" and only given when we are home and watching.

How about your pets? Do they like noise making toys? (do those drive you nutty sometimes)???

My poodle loves his squeaky toys, we have a name for each of his squeaky toys, and he remembers all of them.

Our cats will ring the bells we have on our doorknobs when they want out. But won't touch a cat toy with a bell on or in it.

My cat did, but our dog prefers those rope tug-o-war toys and playing with rawhide bones.
We buy him a squeaky toy or a ball and it just sort of sits there.
He might like one of those "Fur Real Friends" toy dogs though, we were thinking about getting him one so he doesn't feel lonely when we have to go out to the store or something, but he's shredded the plushies we got him so we're holding off on that idea for now.

Kind of. My weiner dog has squeaky toys that he sometimes plays with. Mostly he enjoys when we pretend to steal them and he'll get all crazy & chase and bark at us, but other than that, he doesn't play with them much. Unless he's grooming them. HE doesn't chew on them, he grooms them! He has a reindeer from Christmas he grooms. Guess the little guy wasn't clean enough.
