Does EF Forums work on your ANDROID Device?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
I just got my first ANDROID device...an EEE Pad Transformer. Love it. My wife got a new MOTOROLA XOOM at work too. Both run HONEYCOMB and we find that the EF site works great...EXCEPT, when you go to the MAIN SCREEN of the EF Forums, with all the listings of headings and topics, it comes up fine, then in about ONE SECOND, a whole bunch of writing is superimposed on it, and NOTHING is reable.

Before notifying EF, does anyone else have these kind of problems with their tablet device???

We don't have an issue using various devices, though we can't use public WiFi to access the site if we're out in a restaurant/bar. It's blocked. Which is something I find to be hysterical.

I know tech is working on apps and such for smart phones.

I'm also about 83.6% sure there's a mobile friendly version of the site...just have to find the link.

There's a link in the upper right hand corner that's supposed to take you to a mobile version of the site. However it never seems to work from my Blackberry.

The EF site works OK on my Droid phone - it would be nice if there were a mobile friendly site because navigation on a small screen is an issue.

I just tried it from my computer, and it's broken to hell.

I clicked on mobile from the computer, and I got a very very basic setup. Like, 6 product categories, and 3 or 4 products under each.

I have a Nexus S and it works ok on that. It works pretty good on my iPad too, though sometimes I have to click again and again and again on a link to get it to go. The other thing I would recommend is looking into alternative browsers for android. You have a number of choices, including Firefox.

Not sure what could be causing this, it works perfectly fine on my htc evo. Try third-party browsers as Lucky21 suggested. Dolphin mini is my choice.

It works alright on my evo just on the regular browser for me but loading time is a little slower unless you have 4g on.

This seems to be the problem of the standard browser

I go to EF on my iPad all the time. But not on my android. It would be cool to have an app. That would be awesome.

I use my ipad all the time for EF as well. I just wish it had flash for videos and stuff for sites like this sometimes! But I cant complain I won my ipad in a sweepstakes.
