We have a picnic on the last day of school. Its sponsored by local businesses. We don't have a choice because its during work hours.

We have a "team building day" twice a year and attendance is mandatory. Sometimes they are fun, sometimes not.

We have a BBQ in June and get an appreciation gift. This years about 1/3 of the staff showed up. Wasn't that great.

ours does. it is a family picnic. they want us to spend time with our families, not be so busy with work that we dont have personal lives.
