Am I the only person on the face of this planet that doesn't like strawberries? I've just never been too fond of them. I had one a few weeks ago to see if my taste has changed any, but nope, still don't like them.

My friend did not like berries for most of her life. I forced her to try some strawberries grown fresh from my garden and she was instantly hooked. Maybe you just haven't gotten any good ones. I know the quality of strawberries can vary greatly depending on the source and age.

Strawberries do not ripen once they are picked so they will not get sweeter over time if you buy them still a bit green. They will stay green and sour. Just a tip.

was it a strawberry grown fresh from a local farm? They are the best. berries have to rippen on the plant to have the sweetness they should have. Berries that are shipped in from out of state or country never taste good.

There are different varieties of strawberries as well. I grow Alpine and Tri-Star strawberries, and they each taste far sweeter and more complex that the big ones you see for sale in the supermarket.

I love strawberries, but one of my ex roomies hates them, and tomatoes, shellfish, mushrooms. All of the above I loved. I thought he was insane.

Nope! I don't like strawberry's. I think they are just too sour and I don't like the tart/sourness.

I like really ripe strawberries. Or w/a little sugar. Never been a fan of them right off the vine... Hate the seeds too!

Try making strawberry shake with lots of sugar! It's much better with sugar

I've tried them every which way & from freshly picked to very ripe. I just don't care for them.
