Eden Pets!

This is Zach, he is a 16 year old German Shepherd-Husky mix. I have had him since I was 9 years old and he is the best dog anyone could ever ask for.


This is Roxy. She is also a German Shepherd-Husky mix and she is 14 years old. She has epilepsy and has to take medication twice a day for it. She is my best friend... maybe because she is really quirky and so am I. I feel a lot closer to her than I do most humans. I almost lost her a few months ago to a really bad seizure and I cried myself to sleep that night.


This is Twain. He is a Flame-Point Siamese. He is 13 years old and a big bully to the dogs, which is awful, but also hilarious because they let him pick on them.


This is Keila. We found her living by the railroad tracks by our home. She was so tiny then that she fit in the palm of my hand. She is now 5 years old and a spoiled little girl.


Last but not least, my hedgehog, Mace. I adopted her two years ago, as a baby, from a breeder about an hour drive from my house. She is very shy, but when you get her outside, she loves to explore.


Oh, I do have another cat. She is about a year and a half old, very very shy and wary of most people, so I do not have a picture of her. We found her, near death at a cemetery. We took her in and took about a month and a few hundred dollars in vet bills to get her healthy. less

It's one thing if I show MY face. I don't need anyone saying "Hey _______!" when they don't actually KNOW my kids.

But here's a way to do it where they wouldn't be recognized. A pic of the back of their heads that has been picniked so that I can edit their hair color! What a fun tool!

So I’ll go first and get the ball rollin’!

Here is my baby girl! She’s a year and a half old Yorkshire Terrier. She’s a whopping 9 pounds, which is on the larger side for the breed. But since she’s not a show dog, I was hoping she’d not get any of the usual issues of small dogs being inbred for extreme tiny size (hypoglycemia, seizures, drastically shorter life span). (I could rant for hours on how there is NO "teacup" anything! But instead, I'll just link this article link and keep my mouth shut lol.) She’s hearty and hyper! And she has a thing for tennis balls and anything that crinkles or squeaks. Plus, she loves to sleep under the covers with me.



Now these two dogs I helped raise when I was in middle school/high school but then when I moved to college they became the “family” dogs. But I still somewhat consider them mine, especially since I named and trained them.

The big one is a Border Collie mix and the medium one is a Scottish Terrier mix. They’re both 9 years old, born in the same month even. They are definitely sisters – protective but prone to disagreements. When all three dogs get together, they’re hilarious!



And then there’s the cat. He was a rescue and was an adult by the time we got him. Not to mention my parents wasted no time in getting him neutered and de-clawed within the first month of owning him… I think those are all the reasons that he’s anti-social. Poor guy. Also, he has no tail. And as far as we know, he wasn’t born with one to begin with. There’s never been any sign, physical or visual, to indicate otherwise. He’s 10 years old.

Thats my Rabbit, I love her to bits. I adopted her on my 21st birthday (she was 2 months old) and I've had her for 4 years now. Usually rabbits live 6-8 so she's in her midlife crisis, lol. less

Hehe yeah she is. And I LOVE cuddling with her! I agree that it feels so cute and lovable when they sleep under the covers.

And actually, that's a pillow. She just loves sitting on or in something soft and squishy, especially if it's on or against a person. What's awesome about that is when I first got her, she was not at all used to human touch and wasn't a fan of being touched, picked up, or cuddled. But it didn't take her long to become my "puppy scarf" - when she was a tiny baby, she would sleep on my shoulder while I was doing homework or on the computer and snuggle into my neck. I love her so much. less

I don't have any pictures of my one cat and my camera won't take any of my batteries for some reason, even though they are all new. So here's a couple of pictures of my cat Pooky.
