Eggs have been the "good food", then a horrible choice and are back to a "good food" again. Do you eat them?

Are eggs a regular part of your diet? They seem to be very "in" with nutritionists again. Especially since the worry about them being a big cholesterol source has faded. What do you think?

A recent study showed that eating two eggs a day is as bad for you as smoking. I enjoy scrambled eggs every now and again, but I've never been a particularly big egg eater anyway.

Yes, I don't fall for that back and forth mummbo jumbo. Just eat what you like and work it off later. Remember, your input needs to equal your output. Good rule of thumb.

Yes I love eggs! I try not to listen to what the media says about what food is good or bad. As long as I'm healthy.

I eat them a couple of times a week. Usually when I make them I only use one whole egg though and just add a couple of egg whites.

Sorry, I love eggs and eat them almost every day. Have for years. My cholesterol has never been over 100. Luckly, I have got great genes. Now being in the medical profession and seeing friends eat crap and take meds trying to bring their cholesterol down. I am so cure that it has a lot more to do with genetics that with what we are putting in our mouths.

Haven't you all noticed how the target number keeps dropping too to keep you all on the meds?

I love hard boiled eggs on salad, but I don't cook eggs by themselves very often. I tend to cook with them, as in when I make my son's favorite mac and cheese.

I eat eggs when I feel like it, but too-low cholesterol is even more dangerous than too-high cholesterol. It's been linked to aneurysms (brain and heart), lung failure, heart failure, failure for blood to clot properly, and suicidal urges. I know, because I don't produce enough cholesterol naturally - no one on my Dad's side seems to.

So I eat a high cholesterol diet and eat eggs when I want to. Also, with the meds, one of my friends had too high cholesterol. He switched to a diet high in eggs and olive oil, and his cholesterol dropped to perfect levels within 6 months.
