I have only been to Canada, though I used to go over there a lot. I haven't lately, since I don't have a passport.

Thank goodness for that!

I've only been to Canada. I'd love to go to more places, but it's just never worked out for me. I almost went to Germany twice for study abroad, but each time it came around the girl I was dating threatened to break up with me if I went.

That's unfortunate (cough.. whipped! )... You do realize that there are REALLY hot women in Germany eh? All over EU for that matter... There's a lot to be said for women in Lederhosen.. rawr!

During college, I spent one month seeing Europe absolutely on the cheap. Fantastic experience. I also have been to Canada and Brazil (Rio).

whipped? eh...the first one was my first. She said something along the lines of "if you go, you're going to be gone for about 3 months. So we shouldn't have sex for 3 months to see if you can make it that long". uh huh. Sex as a weapon, never a good thing.

The other tried pretty much the same tactic.

They must not having really thought that one through. Abstaining from sex is far easier if you are not physically with the person.

I voted a little preemptively, since at this current moment, I've only been to one country outside of my own, but in a few weeks I'll be on my honeymoon in Mexico.

Only been back to my birth country ... couple of times. But I hope to change that by seeing more of the world in time ... maybe if I slow my toys down

I live in the U.S.-- in Michigan, so I've spent a fair amount of time in Canada. I've been to Mexico on spring break, Aruba on my honeymoon, and have traveled to the U.K., Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal on vacation.

Canada counts provided it's not your country - in other words if you're from the US yes it is a different country, and there are some residents who find it a bit offensive for you to claim it isn't . I guess it'd be like someone coming to the US and saying that it was the same as Great Britain.

Canada and Mexico...not very exciting. Hopefully I'll get to a lot more eventually, but right now it isn't something that we are looking to do.

This is an interesting survey! I like that the results are pretty varied.

I have been to Mexico and the UK. I am counting Wales and England together, there.

I live in the US and I've been to Canada. Not that it really counts where I grew up. It's a bigger deal to leave the state than to go over there.
