I go to AnimeNEXT every year since '08. Went to NY ComicCon in '10, probably won't go again ever. Too crowded, yeesh. @_@ I'll stick to my small 8-9k people con.
I go to a few different anime conventions, and I've been to one gaming and one comic con. Not for lack of interest, the timing wasn't good for me to repeat the comic trips

Never been and ain't really interested in that sci-fi stuff, but that's not to say I wouldn't go to some type of convention. I always like to try new things and even if it's a convention I know little about the theme, I would more than likely still have a good time. So I'd say, if the opportunity came up, I wouldn't mind going to one. No sci-fi though.

Ive been to sacanime 1 time and about to go again in aug, comic con 2 times, fanime 7 times, anime expo 1 time, and japan town sf anime 1 time.
I go to a-kon yearly. I like it. I've also gone to ikkicon and ushicon. All anime conventions though a-kon has expanded greatly. They have a lot of gaming and webcomic features now.
Closest I've been is I went to the 12:01 showing of HP5 and the midnight release of the 7th HP book and we dressed up...Haha. Going to some otehrs would indeed be fun
I've never been to any convention, and don't see myself ever going to anything like that. UNLESS my hubby becomes a hot shot game programmer and it's required that we go to such things. I don't see that happening either, but you never know that's what he'd like to do.
I never have but am currently obsessed with the show " The Walking Dead" and watched a show that showed all the special stuff they have going on at comic con this year and I sooooo wanna go!
I've only been to one and it was Comic-con Boston about three years ago.
When we have the time and money though I intend on going to more, and possibly attending in cosplay. =3
I went to Kitsune Kon (a smaller, Wisconsin anime con) with my sister this year. It was our first con, and we had a great time. We are definitely going next year.
No never been. It's funny I see this now because just yesterday I was telling my partner that I want to go to one of those conventions and dress up like a super hero. I think it'd be a blast!
