I've been to Fanime! Its a great con.

I've also been to Anime Expo, Wondercon (which is put on by the same people who do San Diego Comic Con), Gallifrey One and just last weekend San Diego Comic Con.

Your first con was SDCC? What an introduction to conventions! I remember the first time I went-it was overwhelming but I had a lot of fun. Did you have fun and did you get into all the panels you wanted to go to? Did you attempt the Hall H line?

Ironically, I was in the middle of a Harry Potter con when you posted this thread - Ascendio in Orlando.

I went to a few anime cons (mostly AFO), but it seems I've attended more Harry Potter cons ... surprisingly, I'm not that much of a fan, I just like meeting my friends and looking at the costumes and hanging out with a pack of creative intellectuals.

Although I'm thinking of going to Megacon next year and stalking Sherlock and Doctor Who cosplayers with a riding crop. *devil smiley*

I went to an anime convention dressed as I normally dress and people kept taking a bazillion pictures asking me what anime I was from. They looked baffled when I said I wasn't from anything and that was how I normally dressed.

I'm looking forward to going to comic con sometime.

I've been to two cons for Firefly and last year attended Austin Comic Con. My husband and I enjoy the guest star panels but aren't into photo ops and autographs. Even if I was interested I'd probably talk myself out of it because of the long lines not to mention the additional expense.

I kinda want to go to comic-con someday but never have been. I don't know if the common man is allowed in at E-3 but that is something I would also love.

E-3 is only for those who work in the gaming industry and it is really expensive. It's around $700 just to attend but most of the attendees going will have that fee paid for by their employer.

I have a lot of friends that are in the gaming industry that have gone. They say it is a lot of fun and the parties are great. But they work in the gaming industry which means they work long and hard hours.

I go to NYCC comic con every year, and other cons. Mostly anime/video games con I enjoy the most. And I can never go without cosplay because its one of my biggest hobbies I enjoy doing.
