With the impending forceful switchover of the current profiles to Timeline fast approaching, I was curious as to how many people have switched voluntarily, and what you all think of it?

I decided to be proactive in switching over so that way I could take the time to mess around with it before it went live and figure out exactly what could and couldn't be shared. I discovered that I had a few notes and videos that were set so the public could see them, and promptly put the kaibosh on that. I'm not overly thrilled with the new look, but I'll get used to it. I do wish that it wouldn't just keep changing, or that we would have an option to pick which view we wanted, but figured that I might as well switch it because we haven't had an option in any of the other changes and I've gotten just as used to those.

Out of my hundreds of friends I was one of 2 to get it the first day it came out and soon I had tons of people asking me about because they loved how it looked...ugh, what? I hate it! I hate how it looks and works. I think it looks juvenile and stupid. I don't like how it dates everything. It actually almost got in trouble at work. I called in sick one day and was bored so I uploaded pics from the previous week. People then saw it and thought I was at those places that day. i had to explain that just because I upload a pic a certain day doesn't mean I took it that day!

I wish I could go back...

I dislike the look and several users have told me, they didn't like it at all. Reminds me of how bad Myspace became, before I stopped using it.

As with most of the other changes to Facebook I made it but I'm not particularly thrilled about it. Doesn't really improve my experience.

I accidentally got Timeline because of a facebook app. It happened to me a few weeks ago. It's less of a big deal, since my current Facebook profile is very new. My old one got hacked and I made a new one. But I'm not happy about the layout. It really pisses me off that Facebook keeps making changes that people don't like. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

It is so hard to follow on the profiles that already have the Timeline setup! It may look "pretty", but I hate the way it looks!

It's really annoying for me, as I have a slow 7 year old computer that hates it. I don't like the layout, it seems too cluttered and yet has too much blank space.

I really like it! I also like the idea behind the change. It really is like a timeline, telling a story of your life and all..... which I love! When I scroll through the timeline, I see pictures I uploaded of my kids a few years ago, and it's all nice and neat in the timeline form for me to look back on.

LOVE IT!

I made the change so I can put all my stuff back to private that I would not want seen. Because they said if you did not all your stuff would be in the open. I have got used to it and am glad I changed it when I did.

I am not a FB fan to start with, but I find the timeline to be really confusing. And I did prefer having my "likes" all show up on my wall. Now I have to search all over the place for them.

Yea seriously, when I happened to change it I went to check my page, because I had my page private before hand. So what I did was check from my son's account and my brothers account and when I did, stuff that I had private was showing and I was not a happy camper. So I had to go in my settings and redo everything all over again.

I don't really care about facebook one way or another. It lost its appeal to me years ago. I only use for Eden nowadays.
