Favorite COOL, OLD Car????? Do you have one?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
If someone said "here is a gift, any old car you want", what would you choose???

I totally love the old VW Carmen Ghia. Yes, I know it was one of the stinkers of the automotive world (or so I have heard), but as a KID, I remember seeing it around and it was the closest thing to an exotic sports car I had ever seen...low and sleek. The fact it was a VW just made it that much more fun. I would LOVE to have one?

Is there some old timey car YOU would love to have? Why?

1967 Chevy Impala, look up Metallicar and you'll understand. It's so big and powerful and simply incredible.

I have to say that I love that you didn't say a '64 Impala. In the lowriding community that seems to be the only car anybody ever wants to build lol.

I had to think about this for a bit, because "cool old car" is completely relative. Like I think that Edsels are cool, but a lot of people would disagree with me.

However if I could have just one "cool old car" I would have to go with my late 50's/early 60's Cadillac Convertible. The '59 - '64 Series 62 to be specific.

I've always been weird about the 1992 Chevy Cavalier. I know it wasn't the best car out there and was a pretty standard car, but I always liked it.

My car..... a 1993 Mustang GT convertible. Red exterior with a black cloth interior and black top. Five star pony rims and a Saleen whale tail to set it off. To enhance the sound, Flowmaster 2 chamber pipes.

I'm a bit of a gear head and have a deep passion for pony cars. If you haven't heard the above car, you'll remember when you do.

I laughed, since that is the -only- classic car I can identify on sight.
