This is a toughie for me. I love all the ones I've played. I'd say it's probably a tie between FFVII and FFX. I'm not a fan of most strategy games so I haven't even played any of the tactics games.

FFVII for all it faults is the sentimental favorite because it got me hooked on RPGs.
