What food do you make sure get whenever you go to a fair or amusement park, (or any place similar)?

I can't answer the poll, because I would probably wind up picking all of the above! It's not even enough that I like "some" equally. I am a sucker for carnival food, and I would weigh 800 pounds if I weren't also a cheap bastard and didn't think that shelling out the cost of a sit down meal for four for a couple of hot dogs and some candy apples was just too much.

Ohhhhh here in WA we have the Washington State Fair, formerly the Puyallup Fair, and I love everythingggggggggg. Gimme an Earthquake Burger (giant hamburger), Krusty Pup (corn dog), Cow Pie (giant cookie), some curly fries, and a big ol' rack of ribs.

I can't wait for the fair to start in September.

Down here, we also tend to have fried oreos (and fried everything, really) at fairs/carnivals.

Caramel and Candy Apples have always been my favorites.

My favorite fair foods are available at a couple annual events in my area: sugared nuts that come in big cones of paper, and family-made sodas (they're just so awesome omg they come out of a tap and everything).

I'm weird, because I won't eat hot dogs....but I'll get corndogs at the fair. I like funnel cake, elephant ear, cotton candy, candy and caramel apples.

Funnel cakes, UNTIL, I learned how to make them myself! So now I don't order them at the fair, I make them, and they are wonderful!

All you do is make pancake batter like you normally would

Put some oil in a frying pan

Put your pancake batter in a zip-lock bag & cut the corner out

Then swirl your batter in the pan and let it fry until golden brown

Sprinkle with your favorite topping (mine happens to be the generic powdered sugar) and eat it!

Funnel cake! That's all i care about when the yearly fair comes, well and riding as many rides as i can. When it comes to theme parks i'm pretty partial to the "turkey" legs many offer, although when i go with my partner we usually have to find a dine-in place within the park with vegan options (which is more challenging than expected), and i'll usually get what he gets but with cheese.

Haven't been to an amusement park in years, and my last rodeo fair was the end of last summer.
