Find of the month!!!!! I am excited......

Contributor: js250 js250
I just stopped at the local thrift store out of a bit of boredom and also, I need a tool shelf. As I was paying for a set of Disney Lithographs-.75, I looked down and there were 8 pairs of antique, ivory, screwback earrings and a carved bone purse handle from the 30-40's for $2.00. I got them-came back to work and checked them over. They are SOOO valuable!!! I almost feel guilty about only paying two dollars!!! Holy cow!!!!

What has been your find of the century so far......

Woah, that's an awesome find! I managed to pick up a copy of the complete works of Shakespeare at my local library for about $5 not that long ago. It's from 1926 and looks like a Bible, which is pretty cool.

Congrats!! Nice score! I love to go thrifting! We've found vintage collectables like mugs, and other glassware, books, stuff like that. You really have to go to several places and go frequently to really find stuff.

Awesome! I've never found anything like that. My best find has been a Starbucks coffee maker that retails for $150 for only $5 at my local Goodwill. My fiance makes a lot of coffee and it's an amazing machine so we grabbed that thing as soon as we saw it.

Every one of my antique furniture pieces. I have 8-10 pieces and all were free except 1 which I only paid $35 for, a 1930's Cherry Wood Hope Chest, cedar lined! I love wood furniture & I've even refinished a few pieces.
