1996, bag phone, cellular one, it had a 15 minute battery!

For my bat mitzvah in 2006. I don't remember what it was called, but it was some sort of flip phone. I still use it as an alarm clock.

In 1982 or '83 I paid $2,800 for a 'car' phone. In 1989 my first handheld NEC for $1,300 - a little nicer than the iconic Motorola 'brick'.
