For Single Parents: When moving in with a companion has your child or theirs ever done anything to try to split you guys up?

My boyfriend and I have been to gether for a year and finally moved in together, he has only lived with us(me & 2 sons) for a month and since then my bfs lock box has been broken into and money missing from it and the other day while he was in the shower one of his prized possesions came up missing.Im not taking sides but my oldest son 14 was the only other one here both times..I would hate to think he would do something like that but he doesnt like my bf.

Has anything likee this happened to you?

I can't speak for parents, but I know when my mother had a couple of her boyfriends move in, I did everything in my power to break them up because I could tell they weren't the nice guys they were pretending to be.
It never worked but nearly every time she found out my hunch was right and they were total assholes.

If she's dating someone that I don't like, but they're not making her cry or treating her badly I just keep my opinions to myself though.
