No contest: warm and soft. Especially good when it's chewy as well.

I don't like gooey soft, more of a crunch for me.

Warm and gooey. But crunchy is my preference over soft.

I like a chocolate chip cookie with a nice crunchy outside, but a softer middle. And I love it when the chocolate chips are all melty. I have different preferences for different kinds of cookies (peanut butter should be soft, shortbread should be crumbly, sugar cookies should be crunchy but not hard), but I answered based on chocolate chip because they're the ones that I make the most.

I've been meaning to make cookies. I love them warm and soft, straight out of the oven.
