Honestly, my wife and I are pretty convinced that we're being haunted or followed by something/someone of the paranormal sense. We've had this stuff going on since a house we lived in back across state about three years ago and its followed us ever since. The only strange thing was that when we lived with her mom for a few months (during transition) the activity stopped. Of course, her mom has crosses and bibles lined up in every nook and cranny of that place, so its no wonder why we weren't being plagued by the crap that had kept us up for nights beforehand.
When we lived in the first house together, my wife woke up crying and screaming at me to wake up, as she was scurrying towards the wall behind our bed, she told me she had woken up and seen an older woman's floating "head" at the end of our bed and she looked mangled. She didn't sleep for nights after that, as you can imagine.
Our Pomeranian has been seen barking wildly (from the foot of our bed) looking out into the living room and at nothing at all. fur raised up, growling, the whole nine. Mind you, our dog doesn't bark at ANYTHING, not even folks coming up the stairs to our apartment.....so, you can imagine how freaked we were to see that.
My wife has a "dark shadowy figure" that has been seen hovering over her a few times. I have woken out of a dead sleep to see her twisting and whimpering in fear, and I have seen this "thing" then POOF its gone. She wakes up in sweats and scared for her life and has no idea why. This has happened a few times. She even woke up crying hysterically once and I had to calm her down, then I seen it again on her side of the bed. All we can do is scream at it to leave us alone. It goes away for a while, then pops back up whenever it seems to suit it.
We found a kitchen knife that was placed upon one of the doorway frames once. My wife went to sweep across the top of all the walls/cieling fans etc and about sent that knife flying at me. We had no idea how on earth it got up there, but that knife had been missing for a few weeks....
We have had things pull at our clothing, something plays with the back of my neck, alot. And several things of ours have flown off countertops, shelves and the kitchen hutch, for no apparent reason.
Then of course there are the slew of photos that we have taken where you can see something in the background that is unexplainable. Like the dark, hideous face in the window that was behind my wife standing in the kitchen. Needless to say, after we found out that the tree out back with the piece of rope hanging from it and the broken up cement bricks and red spray paint was used for some sort of sacrificing grounds, we decided it was time to move!
