The Republican's party platform (their official list of ideas they would want implemented in a perfect world) has been modified to include far support for enforcing laws on hardcore porn. Good to see small government in action. (snark)

Yes these laws are on the books, but most sex related laws are both unenforceable and rejected by vast majorities of the populace. the only reason they are stricken from the law books is because one it's a waste of time and two it'd look like the lawmakers support porn. Also, remember how many sextoy laws and sex laws are "on the books" and imagine what would happen if those were enforced.
