I talk to Beck almost every day. I met her here. There's quite a few Eden users that I consider friends. In previous online lives I had actually flown out to meet online friends or they have flown out to meet me. I'm bigger on online friends than real life ones. I generally have more in common with the people I meet online (since you usually meet on a common interest site or such).

Yep! Kira and I were talking back and forth so much on Eden. We ended up exchanging phone numbers. We talk just about daily. She's become one of the only friends I have. It's sad that I am in Ohio and She is in LA.

All 4 of my VERY best friends who I would trust my entire life with, including hubby, I have met online. I also have several friends here on Eden who I talk to quite a bit! Most of my friends on facebook are "online only" friends because they live in other countries, but I love them just the same!

Here, too - my best friend I met thirteen years ago online, and she was matron of honor at my wedding ... I was also staying with her when I made up my mind to divorce my husband about ten years after that.

I also have several other online friends that I've met through the years, and we regard each other as family. Anytime one of us is visiting an area another one lives in, we're able to crash at their place without a problem. We'll be doing something like that again this summer since we'll be going to the same convention and I live not too far away.

There are some that I do hope to meet in person someday. One of them I intend to film a Doctor Who short with in Scotland.
