I was more... infamous. In my dorm and class in college freshman year I was notorious for yelling at the potheads for smoking near my room. I was notorious for chasing jackass guys out of the floor I lived on (it was coincidentally an all female floor), and was known for flipping off and telling off anyone who was a dick head.
People who didn't even live in my building knew me. Guess they knew I didn't deal with BS. So I was college infamous. Even had a small article about me.

Does making it in the newspaper count? One day it was really, really cold out and I had some errands to run in the cold as weather I had no choice to be out in it. I did not have a car and I was with my son. We were heading over the bridge when we were approached by a newspaper women who asked me if she could take our picture. She said she would be writing a article on us and I agreed I looked for it in the paper and sure enough we were in it. I still have the article till this day. I used to live in the Berkshires in Adams, Ma. It is so cold up there in the winter because we are surrounded by nothing but mountains.
Oh I was also on the Montell Williams show with a friend of mine on stage. She was reuniting with her brother who she had not seen in years and he had to choose out of me, her and her other sister who was his sister.

Since I work in the entertainment industry, I've felt famous at various points, and I consider myself to have a good deal of friends, but I wouldn't consider myself "famous"

I was on the news for about five seconds. I did a 'Wish' walk with a friend. There was a short segment in the news, and I was visible in a clip that showed people walking.

I've been interviewed on local TV and in the newspaper several times, but I wouldn't say that I was particularly famous. I was a poster girl within the horse show circuit and did a bit of modeling when I was younger, but that was just a silly little thing. And I did so many extra curriculars when I was in high school that everyone knew who I was there, but again, that doesn't seem to me like it qualifies as "famous." Though it would make it pretty difficult for me to get away with faking my own death and reemerging with another identity, so I'm going to pick the Other option, just in case. =)

I've never been famous, but I've been on the local news here several times, I've been placed on various school websites, and I stand out socially and academically at every school I attend, so I'm frequently recognized. It's odd since I feel like I'm invisible most days.

i was famous locally and somewhat nationally in the US for football. my claim to fame was getting 2 interceptions and being the MVP in the Rose Bowl game for the #2 team in college.

Nope and I don't want to be. I have felt to be at times, since I was akways one of only a handful of redheads at school. Stuck out even more with pink hair.
Also once a video I made was on the school announcements and people commented on it to me for a few days, which was nice. I like to make people laugh and a lot of people thought it was funny.
