We have been thinking about our next vacation and have considered a cruise. Have you ever been on a cruise? Did you love it or hate it? Would you recommend it?

My wife and I got married on a cruise ship. That was over 10 years ago and has been on many more since. Mostly just in the Caribbean area, but two years ago, we went on a 2 week European cruise. We hit all the major spots. We started in Barcelona, then hit Rome Italy, Athens Greece, Izmir Turkey, Cairo Egypt, and Valletta Malta. We loved it, although we missed the warm weather we usually associate with being on vacation. Would definitely recommend trying it at least once.

My wife and I go on cruises quite a bit. Mostly the Caribbean, but have been on an Alaskan cruise as well. We love em. Our favorite time of the cruise is dinner time. The wait staff is always awesome.
If you've never been on one before, just like Dreaus says, I recommend at least trying it once.

I haven't but I used to get sea sick (on smaller boats). I fully intend to try to go on one in the future though. I want to travel on one that has a lot of fun amenities like night clubs, etc.

I went with my mother last October on a cruise. We had a blast and I'd love to go on another cruise with my husband and kids.

I love being on the water! I've been on a couple cruises. One to the Galapagos Islands on a large ship. It was fabulous: beautiful and relaxing. The other was on the Amazon River, which was a bit scarier because there were a lot of spiders hanging around on the ship...the cabins came with their own can of bug spray for you to treat your room in the morning to prevent critters from joining you in the night.

I'd totally recommend going on a big cruise and seeing exotic places. Bugs or no bugs, the Amazon was worth it.

I've been on a cruise once and I did not enjoy it at all. My ship was rampant with screaming children and I was horribly seasick the whole time.
