One day I was desperate to make it to my job on time and the husband of one of my teachers caught me. He was state patrol and very sternly warned me about how many vehicle fatalities he had personally attended on the very unsafe road I was driving 80 miles an hour down. He wrote the ticket so that I didn't get points on my license and he agreed not to run my plates through my local police department because my Dad was the dispatcher there!
I never drove that fast again and I have been very mindful of my speed ever since....crime scene photos are gruesome. That was over 20 years ago...scared extremely straight lemme tell ya!

Pulled over twice, never ticketed. I like to think it's because I'm pretty... More likely that I just look like I'm on the verge of tears, though.

I've been pulled over twice. Once for speeding, no ticket, and once for not having my lights on (on a really bright downtown street, which they said happens all the time), no ticket.

I just (2 weeks ago) got out of a 22 mph over the speed limit but got away with a warning when I explained that the reason I had out of state license was because hubby just ended his service with the Marine Corps. He wrote me a warning and thanked me for our service...
That would have been like 6 pts on my license!

I have been pulled over once for speeding, and I got a ticket. I also didn't have my registration in the car, but he just gave me the speeding ticket. I was 18 at the time and was crying a lot so I think he took pity on me.

I've been pulled over 3 times. The cops always took pity on me, and gave me warnings - I think because I got so nervous and shaky each time, and the crying probably didn't hurt either

yes, a long time ago. I received a ticket for speeding. Even though I was coasting down the side of a mountain pass, and was not going that fast.

Since i started driving i've been pulled over a total of three times, and only received a ticket once. The first was after i started driving and tried to merge into the turn lane trying not to miss the light. I didnt realize it was my turn until right before i needed to, and quickly turned on my blinker then merged, almost side swiping and take the mirror off the cop car next to me (who i ended up in front of). They we're very nice about everything, explaining to me what did wrong, and let me off to go about my way. The second time was when i was going to a friends house and had borrowed my mom's car and got pulled over for a broken tail light. When the officer pulled me over telling me why my responce was just "goddamnit" to which she asked why i'd say that and i explained how my mom had just gotten that light fixed a week ago (which she had) and the officer let me off with a written warning. The last time i was pulled over was when i was coming home from my partners at like 2am and ended up speeding wiht out realizing. The cop who clocked me at 88, ended up almost hitting me (the only person on the highway) when trying to pull me over by pulling off the median as i was passing, and i had to swerve to avoid him. It was a terrifying experience and i ended up with a ticket, which is why i now ALWAYS use cruise control when driving long distances.

Ive been pulled over quite A LOT for speeding.. I've always had fast cars *especially when I had a 350z*... I can't help but drive them fast.

From age 16-19 I was pulled over fairly frequently, I had no license and the cops in our small town all knew about it...got tickets every time.
From age 20-present (43), I have been pulled over about 5 times and have received warnings. They were for running a stop sign and speeding. I have not been pulled over in the last 9 years...and I still have a lead foot!

I have been in a car that was pulled over many times. I have never been pulled over as a driver however.
