Have you ever been to a country that has toilets or bathrooms that are "different" then we have in the USA and CANADA?

How did they differ?

I know in China they have "hole" toilets..even in some nicer places. Just basically a hole in the floor. Other nations, such those in the UK have stalls that are very private (no "gaps" in stall walls and doors), and their toilets often have "solid waste" and "liquid waste" flush buttons, etc.

What "other" kinds of toilets and bathrooms have you come across?

I've been to Italy and the toilets were pretty much the same, but with more narrow seats and were of a smaller scale then American toilets.

Japanese squat toilets are tricky to use when you're a girl wearing pants.
