What's it like? There are some in the city nearest me, but I'd like to have some idea of what I'm getting into before I go. What are the pros? What are the cons? What would you do to have a good time, or what artists/shows would you recommend?

I went to a three-day rave in the mountains once. Well, it was sort of one. It was very colorful and everyone was on drugs.
I wish I could go to one again.

I barely socialize outside of the internet...so no.
It sounds kinda fun, though I certainly wouldn't be getting high during it.
Never been the sort to do drugs. ^_^

I've always wanted to do this. I left my cool college town right before raves started happening.

I haven't, not interested. It seems like they're for doing drugs and other risky behavior, which I'm not into.
