I speed, sure, but I'm smart/lucky. I have never been pulled over by the cops for any reason, though Lord knows I've done so much damage to my car.

I was able to avoid getting a ticket twice by eluding, not outrunning, the cop chasing me. The first time was at night and I was going probably 75 in a 55. I saw the patrol car on the other side of the highway and turn around in the median behind me. Luckily, I was able to mix in with traffic coming onto the highway and he lost sight of which car was which.
The second time was similar to the first. I was definitely speeding and was caught by a patrol car on the other side of the highway. I was able to take the nearest exit and pull into a gas station, hiding on one side of the building. I saw the patrol car take the same exit and speed off in the other direction. I pulled out and back on the highway and continued on, but a little slower this time.
So, if we're keeping score: Cops = 4 , Me = 2 less

The only ticket I ever got was for being parked somewhere I thought was ok to park. I am so scared of driving, I am super careful, I follow the limit.

I love to go fast, but I try to be conscientious about it. The one time I got a ticket, though, was because I was tired and not paying attention. The sheriff could've given me a reckless, but he lowered the quoted speed, because he was nice.

I hope I didn't just jinx my luck, but I've never been pulled over. It's not like I never speed, I've just been lucky that the cops have been busy with other people, or I'm actually doing around the speed limit. But then again it's FLA, and I think cops here are a little more chill about giving out speeding tickets, as long as you're not going more than 8 miles over the limit, you're cool.

I got one speeding ticket for going 70 in a 55, after that I've started driving the speed limit alot more. My girlfriend has gotten close a couple of times but has never been pulled over

I missed the 15 mph speed change sign... and was already going 5 over, so I technically got pulled over for going 60 in a 40. The officer was semi nice and let me go to a baby baby court thing and pay a fine so it didn't end up on my record.

Ugh I got pulled over going 33 in a 30 zone in front of a school. I had to pay $350 and go to traffic school. Stupid ticket quotas.

Just one ticket so far. I was doing 80 or 85 in a 65 speed zone on the highway. I have a bit of a lead foot and I really let go on highways. The officer was polite and I was lucky that he didn't ticket me for not wearing a seatbelt. heh

I have never gotten a speeding ticket, but I have gotten a ticket for rear-ending someone. That is all. I'm a pretty safe driver.
