Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket? How bad was it?

I have only gotten one ticket and it was a family emergency. I ended up paying 200 for the ticket and 200 to the state for it though so honestly- SOOOOOOOOO not worth it. I pay attention to how fast I am going now.

More than a few!
Here in the states, highway speeding tickets aren't really about safety, they're revenue generators. The police have to contribute through fines to their operating funds.

I got my first speeding ticket last week. I went to the courthouse and it is $10 for the fine and $150 for court costs! I am trying to slow down now.
