Have you ever had a stalker?

I was once semi-stalked by a stranger in a case of mistaken identity. Her husband had run away to live with the previous tenant of my apartment, who then moved out. Long story short, the woman thought I was the one who ran off with her husband and left a bunch of angry letters over a period of a few months, culminating in a threatening message on my answering machine. A call to the police and the landlord took care of it - she wasn't interested in talking to me once she learned that I wasn't the other woman. It's not comparable to an actual stalker who won't leave you alone, but it freaked me out.

Crossing my fingers that I'll be lucky enough to continue to have never have one (to my knowledge).

I wouldn't really say I had a stalker but I have had some creepy ex's that wouldn't leave me alone.

Luckily, no.

I answered "yes" but I probably should have answered "other". A girl with, shall we say, psychological issues, wouldn't leave me alone after we drunkenly hooked up one night my first year in college. She didn't so much stalk me as HOUND me. There was nothing covert about it. She just wouldn't leave me alone, even after I asked her to stop several times. It was REALLY annoying. I finally convinced her to visit Student Health for counseling and she left me alone after that.
