Thank goodness it has been a while, but like most parents I have stepped on quite a few legos, hotwheel cars too and while that hurts too, I think legos hurt worse.

I don't remember stepping on one but I can imagine the pain! I have a little boy on the way, so I guess I should prepare myself for the minefield that will be our house in about 4-5 years.

I have...I own a bucket full of tiny plastic land mines as far as I'm concerned.
Stepping on legos actually hurts more than the time I had to use a pair of nail scissors to get a hunk of glass out of my foot.
I think it's mostly all those sharp corners coupled with the little bumps on the top that do it.
