Unintentionally or intentionally? I once heard from a movie/book that tears have different tastes for sadness, happiness, though it may not be true I always thought that was an interesting explanation.

That's weird I think it's only happened once for me when I was sad. I just remember it being salty

Haha I went through an "emo" phase. I tasted a great many tears. Once you cry for so long they become less salty.
