Yes, I inherited a cat from a cousin who had begun to train it to do that. Unfortunately I couldn't take the time and retrained it to solely use the litterbox which was much quicker. I had to keep the toilet seat down there-after because the cat kept getting mixed up. Fortunately for me I always keep the lid down anyway.
