Hi there, I'm new here and had no idea where to post my first post! I started browsing about 3 months ago. I've only reviewed about 5 things so far, and I'm still learning a LOT about reviewing and the forums. It's fun so far though!

Something I feel so bad about though... I never got any emails telling me that I have comments on reviews so I never checked. I thought when I got a comment it was supposed to email me. There were comments and I'm just getting back to some of them now.

So, anyhow, I just thought I would introduce myself. I really hope to be more involved and get to know everyone!

Welcome, LanaBean and thanks for introducing yourself.
To make sure you get e-mails when there is a new comment on one of your reviews:
1. Make sure that your e-mail address is correct on your profile.
2. When complete your review there is a box at the bottom that says notify me of comments on this review. Make sure it is checked.
3. Go into one of your reviews and on the left hand side there is a link for set alerts next to a bell. Click that and make sure you are being notified of alerts on each of your reviews. You can also manage alerts from there.
4. If none of the above seems to make a difference, notify Gary at partners@edenfantasys. com.

Hey yourself, Lana

To receive email notifications when you receive comments on your reviews, you need to check the "Notify me of comments" box at the bottom of the page when you are submitting your review. I think you can still change it for your existing reviews by editing them.

Hi and welcome! We don't bite, so don't worry about asking questions. As you can see, we love to help, and won't bite your head off. We were all new once!

As for not getting emails, I know a few months ago there was a glitch where a bunch of us didn't get notified about comments. I don't remember exactly when it was, but it might have been during the time you weren't getting the emails. If it's back to normal, and you didn't have to change any of the stuff the others have mentioned, it may just have been the glitch. Either way, it's great that you're going back and answering those comments now.

It's great that you're going to be getting more involved. Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Thank you EVERYONE for the help and warm welcome!

I am now getting the emails from comments on my reviews, and I really appreciate the tips on the reviews themselves.

After months of lurking in the background, and my 5 reviews, I've officially requested to upgrade... I'm excited!
