Plus, I think it feels good! It's like scratching something that has been itching you to death for hours. It sometimes makes me go limp just the feeling. Lol. I'm weird.

Oh, and the ear candles. LOVE them. There's really no excuse for not cleaning your ears. Even if I was totally against q-tips because they're dangerous and can stuff things far in there, I still use ear candles every once in a blue moon, so no worries. I LOVE cutting the candle open to see what comes out. ICK, but SO interesting.

I do but know I shouldn't. I used to have a Doctor friend who worked in an ER and had seen a lot of stuff. I remember him warning against it, saying "The smallest thing you should try put in your ear is an orange"!

I Q-tip my ears everytime I get out of the shower, just to get the day-to-day yuckies out. For those times when I feel like I have extra build-up (or a little bit of an itch), I pour a little peroxide in, let it fizzle for a couple of seconds, then swab 'em down and rinse with water. I've been doing this my whole life, and so far I have nothing wrong with my ears.

Thought it was pinky? Never put anything smaller than your pinky in your ear?

But yes. I hate ear wax and I hate feeling it. I clean my ears all the time inside. Sometimes even more than once a day. If I feel wax in there, I get my Q-Tips out.

I used to use q-tips when I was little but these days I use a bobby pin (I try not to...but it works well <_< ) or a special ear cleaning spoon thing we got at Walgreens.

I'm prone to ear infections as is so potentially pushing wax further in with a q-tip isn't exactly a great idea for me.

Yes. I think it was my sixth grade Science teacher that told us we're not supposed to use them. I didn't for a while, only occasionally using them. I eventually began using them more often and now, I use them every other day or so. I try to go at least a week between using them, but they just feel soooo good. My ears itch so much, so often and the q-tips help relieve that itch.

I never used to but I've started to every now and then. I don't every day but it's become a bit more of a habit even though I'm weird about my ears and know it's kind of bad for you to do it.
