When i was a kid i found out on my own about masturbation. At some point, in elementary school, my mom had got one of those seat massager (the kind you just lay over a chair or lay on a bed) and i somehow figured out when i lied on it, it made me "feel good."

I figured it out on my own at a really young age. It's a fairly natural thing...little kids do it all the time. We just teach them not to, and that it's bad/dirty. The coolest response I've seen so far to young kids (5 and 6 year old girls) masturbating was their mom telling them that this wasn't something that you are supposed to do in public. It's something you do in your room or the bathroom, and you need to wash your hands and go to the bathroom after. No shame, no guilt, just facts and rules to keep other people from feeling uncomfortable and the kids from a UTI or something.

I don't remember exactly, but I wouldn't be surprised if I learned from my church! The LDS (Mormon) Church teaches that masturbation is a sin, so I may very well have learned about it from that. I didn't figure out how to turn myself on for a long time, though, so despite a few attempts, I was never successful until the age of 21.

When I was 10 years old I went into my parent's room to grab a book from the shelf since I had finished the one I was reading. My mom came over and handed me a book and told me to go read it.
