How do you feel about the word "cunt?"

Contributor: UnknownGirl UnknownGirl
Do you use it, do you deplore it, or do you not really care about it one way or the other? I've found that there doesn't seem to be too much middle ground with this word. People either love the word, or they find it to be the most (or one of the most) offensive words in the English language.

Personally, I love the word.

It's not a word I use myself at all (I was taught it was a swear word when i was growing up actually), but I don't hate it.
I guess I can see why some people might hate or love it, to each their own.

I think it's a very ugly word, and that's why I hate it. I hate ugly words.

Do you find it "ugly" because of the actual phonetic structure of the word, or because of the connotation?

I'm really indifferent to it

I think it's dirty or an insult word.

Phonetic structure. It's abrupt and harsh, doesn't flow well, and it just feels ugly when I hear or visualize it, even though it opens up a wealth of puns in Middle English drama.

After reading Cunt by Inga Muscio and watching the Vagina Monologues, I've grown to love, and reclaim, cunt.

i love it too, it's more powerful than calling someone a bitch these days.

I like the word, but try to be cautious about my usage of it. I used to be indifferent to it, but after doing some reading and thinking, I became fixated on its power, and the manifold reasons for that power.

I like it. I used to hate it but then I visited England and heard it a LOT there, so that made me ease up a bit. I like to say it to shock some people because they just never expect it from me, LOL.

I'm pretty well indifferent about the word. I don't mind it to refer to my lady bits at all, but I don't go about saying it frequently or anything.

1. I use it regularly.
2. I have one.
3. I LOVE to be called one during any type of sexual or kinky activity.
4. I'll call you one if you make me mad.

Honestly, I'm indifferent, but the word has always brought to mind something rotting/smelly. I don't know why! It's just the way it sounds to me, but I don't like the word. I don't totally hate it, but I don't enjoy hearing it. I've said it before, but not often and only when it comes out of nowhere. It's nothing I despise, but like I said, it's not the most pleasant sounding word in the dictionary.

I love it. Then again, I curse like a sailor.

Also, funny thing I noticed... "berk" is the Cockney rhyming slang for cunt. Berk is also used as an insult in some of the later Harry Potter books. It made me giggle when I was re-reading them recently to keep myself amused during a power outage.

I don't use it. I don't mind it in reference to a vagina, but I dislike hearing the word used as an insult.

I don't care for the word and I don't use it either. Although I don't hate it, it just seems insulting to women.
