How do you keep the mosquitos away?

We live in an area with a scary number of new West Nile Virus cases. Even five minutes outside now will get you " swarmed". Anyone have good specific ideas about keeping those biting monsters away? How about something safe to use to help the dogs too?k.

Citronella spray or candles works real well. Heck, you can even grow
citronella plants around your garden...

I always have the worst time with mosquitos - they come fromy miles around to feast on me. Citronella helps a little but not a lot. Honestly, just get some Deep Woods OFF for the humans and a mosquito tag for the pups.

Bug Spray with deet. I usually go with unscented.

I've found that the OFF Clip-Ons work well if I'm stationary, but if I'm moving, I have to douse myself in bug spray. I agree with amplified to rock that Deep Woods OFF is awesome. I spray it around the perimeter of our patio and it seems to keep mosquitos away very effectively.

No matter what I do, the mosquitoes always seem to find me. I could be wearing jeans, long-sleeves, and boots in a group of people all wearing shorts and flip-flops, and somehow I'm the only person getting bitten.

I usually go for the jeans/high socks/long sleeved shirt, then cover it all with OFF. And I still get bit more than anyone else around! (I'm 100% sure it would have been worse though!)
