How do you store your lubes/lotions/oils that might leak?

Contributor: ViVix ViVix
We have all had a bottle of lube, lotion, or oil leak. I was recently thinking about buying a waterproof case and building some kind of separator for it to store my lubricants. How do you store items that you think or know might leak?

I don't store them specially. All my toys, lubes, etc. are in one place.

If it leaks, I get rid of it.

I wish they offered a waterproof container that I could separate my lubes in!
I wrap it in something.
Other. Explain.

I use a Sterilite container for all my lubes and such. Some of them are larger so the top doesn't really go on right, but it keeps them all contained and separate from other things. Should one leak, it just leaks on other lube bottles. Similar to this:

I keep my lubes and whatnot upright in a nightstand. If they end up leaking I will just throw them out. Haven't had any problems with it, really.

I keep the small "travel size" containers in a Ziploc bag. The larger bottles of lube standing up on a shelf. I do have one that I leave in the drawer, but I make sure it is upright enough so that the lube is actually no where near the cap.

If I really like the product, I'll keep it in a hard plastic container.

We don't have a great solution - we just orient the container in the way it's designed to work 'right side up'. As a backup we also have an absorbent layer in the bottom of the drawer to catch any leakage.

I keep them standing up in the nightstand. The taller ones have to lay sideways, and I've never had a problem with them. Just in case, though, they're all in a shallow plastic container (with no lid) so that it doesn't ruin the bottom of the nightstand drawer.

If they leak, they go. I hate leaky bottles.

I just seal them in multiple bags in a separate case. But I haven't really had an incident yet.

I should buy a storage container for them, but I keep them all in one place.

Small metal box, upright. The box is an old tea box my mom had and I stole~

I have a small plastic container similar to the one Kira posted above. I started using it primarily to keep the bottles conveniently stored together...upright, but it also helps that it will contain any leaks should they happen.

I tend to keep them upright and to the side on a flat surface, but that's about it
