I use the dishwasher because it gets hot enough to sterilize the dishes, not just throw soap all over them.

I hand wash all my dishes, never had any luck with dish washers.

Both. Pots, pans and skillets are done my hand immediately after cooking. All others are washed in the dishwasher.

We do both. Most stuff goes in the dishwasher. But pots and pans and delicate items get hand washed.

My Man actually does a lot of dishes. I appreciate it most of the time, unless he washes plates, dishes, silverware and glasses. He always leaves them with gunk on them.

My husband and I both wash dishes, although I prefer a dish washer and he prefers to hand wash. Since the dish washer is currently broken, I haven't been washing dishes.

My husband does most of the dishwashing, I only do it sometimes because I get backaches bending over the sink. We never use the dishwasher, I'm not very good at stacking dishes, always waste a lot of space in the machine.

It's both. What fits in the dishwasher goes in. If there is extra dishes we wash them by hand.

I always hand wash my dishes, have never been very trusting of dishwashers but that's just my OCD showing. Also, I wash them every morning after breakfast.

I said "both" but I don't do both to the same dish. There are some things I prefer to handwash but the rest goes in the dishwasher.

Mostly handwash, but I use the dishwasher sometimes. I never had one until 2 years ago, so I'm still used to handwashing everything.

Wish we had a dishwasher. But for now it's by hand only.

A dishwasher would make things much easier around here!

We do all the dishes by hand and I will confess that I am not particularly good about staying on top of dishes. Love cooking, don't love dishes.

Dishwasher at home, but in the dorm I have to wash what little dishes I accumulate by hand

Mostly dishwasher, except for large items like pots, pans, and trays. Occasionally we will wash dishes in the sink.

Ahh, all by hand for me, I'm afraid. It can be tedious at times, but it's hardly a bother.

The plus about doing the dishes by hand for me, is that if you have particularly cold hands (Hey, it can happen! Winter and all.), it's like taking a bath. Only for your hands.

Do dishes nightly, but with only two of us, do it by hand. We do have a super high tech dishwasher, but only if we have a party or guests is it ever used.

We do them immediately, so there is never a pile up!

Most stuff goes in the dishwasher, but there are some delicate items that get washed by hand. I like washing them as I go when I'm cooking so there's no big clean up at the end... I just hate the clean up after a delicious meal!

pretty much everything goes in the dish washer. occasionally, i'll wash something by hand b/c it's not supposed to go in the dishwasher. i try to do them once a week, but i can't remember the last time i did the dishes.

I use the dishwasher as much as possible, but some things just can't go in there. I absolutely hate washing dishes though (the idea of food pieces and such floating in the water grosses me out). I'll do just about any other chore instead if I have an option.

By hand. We'd like a dishwasher, but there's just no room.
