An Illinois man was clocked driving 111 miles per hour through a 45 miles per hour zone, and when questioned by police said he was rushing to have sex.

In addition to speeds topping three digits, he also ran a stop sign and a red light.

I like sex, but I don't think I've ever been in that much of a hurry.

Oh, that is just ridiculous! I mean really, possibly endangering others just to get off?! Idiot. Hope they really sock it to him! Bet that sex wouldn't have been so important if he got into a major accident and severely injured himself or someone else or killed someone. I just don't find stuff like that amusing and it makes me want to slap the offender in the face or kick him in the balls. The same with DUI, and I have friends that do it. NOTHING is so important to get behind the wheel and drive like a lunatic and endangering someone else's life, it's selfish. Maybe that little punk never gets any and that was his hurry, but still, no excuse for it.

Ha! I suppose at least he was honest about his behavior? I kind of wonder if he was under the influence of something.

Even under mundane conditions I get nervous going ten over the speed limit, but then, cars scare the ever-loving crap out of me.

And just to be clear, I'm not being mean toward you for posting it or getting a laugh out of it. I mean if he thought he was funny or cute for doing it, he is far from it. I laugh at dumb stuff criminals do on The Worlds dumbest tv show but when it comes to driving like that, it just angers. me

ROFL! It's funny, but not funny. So dangerous! He probably only takes 13 minutes to get off anyway.

I don't mean this to be a defense for his reckless behavior, but he was driving through a forest preserve which was likely deserted. I still think he was an idiot to drive that fast.

I agree that he was being flat out stupid. In fact I have proven that driving fast does not always get you there faster. I was a courier for a few years and I routinely beat other guys to a pick up driving the speed limit while they drove as fast as they could. More often than not they would be sitting at a light, it would turn green and I would pass them at the light. They would take off fast, wave at me as they pass and then get stuck at the next light. lol

To me, driving fast in a deserted area is just as bad/dangerous. I have a ton of pictures of what happens when someone hits a deer at 75MPH or more, not pretty at all.

Honestly, there was a time when my hubby and I spend months apart due to work. Although, I don't think I would have been as stupid as our friend above, I would have taken some extremes to hurry things along!

I dunno, when my parents and I take separate cars to dinner and we both leave from their house, I ALWAYS get there at LEAST 5 minutes faster if not more, because the dad drives AT the speed limit, and I never go more than 10mph above
