My desk tends to be messy, between important papers, stuff for college courses, my kid leaving things on it, and my incessant list making; it tends to get messy quickly after I reorganize it. In the summer when I don't have classes its not as bad though.

My space is clean than I keep piling stuff up till I get to the point where I know something has to be about it and than I clean it all up make it look nice put things away and the vicious cycle starts over again

I have cats. Therefor everything gets messy. I'm ok with that though. I clean it up, make it neat, and a week later it's bad again... Rinse, Repeat.

Things tend to pile up. I hate filing papers, so I usually have stacks and stacks, with mail mixed in as well. I try to clean it up every couple of weeks, maybe.
