It varies.

There are some nights that I only sleep for about 5 hours. Other nights, I'll sleep about for 10.

It would be difficult to average it out, as I work rotating days and nights. It's like a roller-coaster of sleeplessness!
On a night where I am free to sleep when I want and wake up when I want, I tend to get about seven hours. It seems to be enough for me, but I'd still like more.

Lately......2-5 hrs a night. It caught up to me also, I was very sick yesterday and barely made it to work. Came home early and got some much needed rest and actually slept. Although I had some really bad freakish dreams that I care not to have again or remember.
