I'm only fluent in English, but still pretty close in French. I can muddle through in pretty much all the major European languages.

English is my native language, and I am trying to learn German, although I think my 4 year old is picking it up much faster than I am.

Only "fluent" in English, but we travel...a lot, so we have "get by" vocabularies in French, German, Russian, Spanish, and a tiny bit of Portuguese.

I wish I spoke Japanese. We are going to visit there, and have friends there. It would be nice to at least be able to speak a bit...since we sure cannot "blend in"! Rosetta Stone, anyone????

Too cool. Did you learn it "on your own"?
