I think I'm going to break down and purchase a reader. How many of you have a kindle? Do you love it? Would you recommend it?

My mother-in-law has a Kindle and really likes it. She doesn't care for a tablet or anything like that and only wants to read and it does really well for her.
I have the Kindle app on my iPhone and iPad and love it. I'm seriously looking at the iPad Mini for my wife at Christmas because she could have the Kindle and other options in a small tablet form.

Pluses:
Brilliant reading ability and doesnt strain eyes
Not too expensive
Email new books to self.
Negatives.
Cant do anyhting else with it
Flickers between pages.
Its a cheap tablet that works on basic technology and it does its job. It could be better, but in reality im a geek and i judge harshly. I think my wife really likes it

I have one, but the charging cord dry rotted so it doesn't work. I have the Kindle app on my iPad and read from that now.

I have several versions of kindles, and I have loved them all! I am hoping to get the new paperwhite one for christmas.

i personally dont, but my girlfriend did and sold it to my mom. Both of them loved it and I think they are pretty cool too.
