Depends on who it is for I had bought my son a dirt bike that was several thousand and we hid it at the neighbors for Christmas. I had bought my husband a bose surround system years ago that was more than a thousand but it is still going strong after like 10 years.

I bought my boyfriend a $250 art glass class, but we're both poor teenagers so that was a lot of money. I don't regret it for a second, it was a great experience and really interesting.

I've bought vehicles for people before, though they were cheaper ones. Not, like, a new $30,000 car or anything.
