20% off seems to be my "sweet spot" trigger. When one office supply store put a 20% off anything you can fit in this bag, into the Sunday paper..I was all about it. I always use 20% off coupons at a certain famous bath and bedding store and of course there are always 20% off coupons to a certain tool store outlet. I LOVE when EF has a 20% off sale too.
10% seems "everyday" and when Kohls has their 30% coupon, I feel like I am getting a REAL AMAZING deal.


SO..what is YOUR "sweet spot" for sales?

I think I'm with you on the 20%-sweet spot. 1/5 off just seems like more, you know? any more than 20% and you have me salivating all over the available items.

Here I don't consider it a good deal unless it is over 30% off since the buyout option is 30% AND the coupons for twitter sexis trivia is 30% too. I usually have a couple of those coupons stashed up at all times. So unless it is over 30%, I usually don't even look at what the items are.

At regular stores I don't really care unless it is over 25% off.

I'm a huge bargain shopper though. I use sales to my advantage and am picky about what I get full price.

20-25% seems to get me! It depends on the items, what store is having a sale.

I'm not sure exactly. I guess I don't spend a lot of money so I don't notice because even when sales are going on, we don't really buy anything. I love 30% sales on EdenFantasys, though, because then it's like a buy-out without having the do the review right away. I'll usually even do 25% if it's not an expensive item. When it comes to video game stores, I'll usually take nothing less than Buy 2, Get 1 Free.

depends on the items but anything over 25 percent usually gets me interested. of course tho the bigger the discount the more im likely to spend.
