It depends. I don't set a limit, I stop when I feel I've given enough. Anniversaries are about celebrating each other, so I try not to let gifts distract from that.

Usually not much of anything, we don't really celebrate it. Usually just go somewhere to eat out for cheap or just forget about it entirely.

We have always limited to what we could afford. We have been very poor and then very blessed financially through years of effort and good fortune. When we were poor (ie our first anniversary) he gave me a card he made with a dozen magic marker colors, flowers he picked by the road, he made me a lovely dinner....pasta and salad with a Pillsbury bread roll he just baked, and gave me a massage, then ran me a bubble bath, and had a new paperback novel for me to read. It was indulgent and loving. For our 40th, he may fly me to the moon ( literally) or cover me in dazzling jewels on a world cruise, but while it may be amazing. ...it will be no more special then that first wonderful anniversary. It is not the amount of money...but the thoughts, efforts and love that really matter!

It depends. Some years, it is $50. Other years, it is over $100.

I'd say about $100, but I don't really think about it much. I buy him things I know he'll like and don't keep track of every dollar.

Depends on the year. Some years we don't give gifts at all, and go out to dinner instead.

We reallu don't do the gift thing. I use to way way way back, but we haven't in a long time. She always tells me my gift is that she stuck around. LOL! She's so right.

It's always different. It's not about giving something expensive for us, it's about giving from the heart. So, it all depends on what strikes us as important and meaningful.

It depends. It's not something I'd put such a limit on and keep track of.

Depends a lot on what my girlfriend would like. I won't dump a few hundred on something she wouldn't like or want, but I'd try to get something nice. You might want to try and match your partner in costs, since that can cause some anxiety

About $5 for a card, and maybe dinner, but the hubby is an awesome cook so if we eat out it's usually after our anniversary is over.

It all just depends. Right now, our anniversary is less than two weeks before his birthday so we usually do a combined celebration. Our wedding anniversary will be in December so our wedding anniversaries should be much larger.

Nothing. We believe that we don't need to buy each other things just to prove that we love each other.
